Next travel to Dambulla. Dambulla Cave temple is a vast isolated rock. Here you can see the famous rock temple dating to the first century B.C. In the first cave is a recumbent image of the Buddha and images of deities associated with Buddhism all around.
After breakfast at the Dambulla Hotel travel to the Kingdom of Anuradhapura.
Explore the kingdom of Anuradhapura's ancient ruins. Anuradhapura City is the oldest City in ancient Sri Lanka which was ruled by some of the great kings of that era. Anuradhapura City consists of the greatest number of “Stupas” and historical ruins.
Next travel to Sigiriya. One of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. Referred by locals as the Eighth wonder of the world. This ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists annually.
After breakfast travel to the kingdom of Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa remains one of the best-planned archaeological relic sites in the country.
Next travel back to Dambulla and check out at the Dambulla hotel. On the way, visit the Dambulla cave temple. The royal cave temple of Dambulla is a UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of the central province of Sri Lanka.
On the way to Kandy city, visit Matale Spice Gardens (Sri Lanka is world-famous for its traditional spices such as Cardamon, Pepper, Nutmeg, Cloves, and Coco) and traditional Wood carving sites.
Afternoon travel directly to the Kingdom of Kandy, evening enjoy the Kandy cultural dance show and stay at Kandy Hotel.
After breakfast at the Kandy Hotel visits the Temple of Tooth, the sacred Tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Kandy is considered as the most sacred city in Sri Lanka as the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha is kept in the temple over there.
